Beefy Noodle Bake
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
2 T. butter
1 cup onion, chopped
½ cup green pepper, chopped
1 can stewed tomatoes, un-drained
¼ cup catsup
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8-ounce) package elbow macaroni
1 t. salt
½ t. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown beef in butter until cooked through. Drain juices and add onion, green pepper, tomatoes, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain. In a large bowl, combine beef mix, macaroni and cream of mushroom soup. Pour into a greased, two-quart baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Remove, sprinkle cheese over all and bake for an additional 10 minutes; until cheese has melted.
