Home-Style Chicken & Stuffing
Ingredients:
3-4 cups shredded, cooked chicken
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 (8-ounce) bag seasoned cornbread stuffing mix
1 stick butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and mix with stuffing mix. Using a 9x13 grease casserole dish spread 1 layer of the stuffing mix on the bottom of the dish. Put 1 layer of chicken over stuffing. In a small bowl, mix 1 can of celery soup together with ½ cup of chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the layered chicken. Repeat chicken and dressing layers. Mix the other can of celery soup with remaining ½ cup chicken broth and pour over additional layer. Put a thin layer of remaining stuffing on top. Bake 40-45 minutes until top is golden and crisp.
