Grilled Asparagus with Lemon Garlic Butter

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
2 cloves garlic, sliced thin
1 lemon, juiced
2 bunches asparagus, washed
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, heat the butter and garlic over medium low heat. When the garlic begins to bubble, turn the heat down and cook for 1 minute (do not allow garlic to brown or it will get bitter). Turn off the heat and whisk in the lemon juice.

Place a skillet over medium-high heat. Toss asparagus in the olive oil and when the pan is hot, grill the asparagus until tender-crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side. Place the asparagus in a baking dish, and drizzle with the lemon-garlic butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste; gently toss to combine.
