Creamy Apple Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter, melted
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 T. brown sugar
½ t. cinnamon
¼ t. nutmeg
3 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and chopped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine graham cracker and melted butter. Press evenly into a 13x9 greased baking dish. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla; combining all. Pour the cheesecake filling over graham cracker crust. In a small bowl, stir together chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spoon this mix evenly over cheesecake batter. Bake 30-35 minutes until filling is set.
