Cheeseburger Soup
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. oregano
1/4 t. salt
½ envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. water
1 t. Worchestershire sauce
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 T. soy sauce
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
½ cup onion, diced
½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions:
Crumble beef into the slow cooker. Add seasonings and soup mix. Stir in water, tomato sauce and soy sauce. Add celery, onion and carrots. Cover and cook on low heat 6-8 hours. Turn to high heat and add cheese; stir to combine. Cook an additional 10 minutes. Serve soup over hot rice, macaroni noodles or with a slice of cruchy French bread.
