Clause's Candy Bars

Ingredients:
4 cups Old Fashioned oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
2 t. vanilla
½ cup Karo syrup
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch chips
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup Holiday Peanut M&Ms, chopped

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the oats, brown sugar, butter, egg, vanilla and syrup. Press mix into a 9x13 greased pan and bake 18-20 minutes until crust is set. Allow bar crust to cool 5 minutes before slicing into bars. While bars cool, prepare candy bar topping. For candy bar topping, melt together chocolate, butterscotch and peanut butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stirring until melted.

Cut cooled bars and place onto wax paper. Spread chocolate sauce over each bar. Garnish with Holiday M&Ms, toffee bits and/or sprinkles. Allow bars to sit at room temperature 1 hour for frosting to harden.
