1 cup beef broth
1 T. butter
1 cup onions, diced
1 (4-ounce) can green chilies, drained
2 t. minced garlic
1 (8-ounce) package sliced mushrooms
1 pound ground beef
2 cups sour cream
1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
3 tablespoons fine flour (recommended: Wondra Flour)
2 T. chili seasoning
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
2 cups Mexican cheese blend
2 cups crushed tortilla chips

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms for 5 minutes in butter until slightly browned. Add beef and cook until beef is cooked through, about 7 to 9 minutes. Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, flour, chili seasoning, black beans and green chilies. Stir thoroughly and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thick. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
Place a layer of crushed tortilla chips in the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish, layer half of beef mix and half of cheese. Place another layer of chips, beef mix and cheese, top with crushed tortilla chips. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
