You can still use that old bread

Don’t throw out your old bread, make a great casserole topper! Grind leftover bread in a blender or food processor until desired size and texture. This can be scattered on top of any casserole for an extra crunch!

Or, spread freshly ground bread onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes, until toasty-brown. This is great when sprinkled over spaghetti, mashed potatoes or any cooked veggies.
